Amherst Community Wind Farm
The Amherst Community Wind Farm is located in the County of Cumberland, approximately 5 kilometers east of Amherst, Nova Scotia. The site lies between John Black Road and Pumping Station Road on privately owned land. The Amherst Community Wind Farm consists of two wind turbines with an installed capacity of 3.0 MW each for a total project capacity of 6 MW.

Sukunka Wind Energy Project
The Sukunka Wind Energy Project was developed by the Sukunka Wind Project Limited Partnership, a partnership between Natural Forces and Saulteau First Nation. This Project has an installed capacity of 15 MW and is located on crown land within the Peace River Region approximately 16 km south of Chetwynd and nine kilometers west of Lone Prairie, BC. Natural Forces, a renewable energy developer, developed this Projects on behalf of the Limited Partnership. The project consists of four turbines.

This Project has an installed capacity of 15 MW and is located on crown land within the Peace River Region approximately 16 km south of Chetwynd and nine kilometers west of Lone Prairie, BC. Natural Forces, a renewable energy developer, developed this Project on behalf of the Limited Partnership. The Project consists of 4 turbines. On April 1st, 2021, the Zonnebeke Wind Energy Project was officially commissioned by BC Hydro.

The Barrachois Community Wind Farm is located on privately owned land in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality near the community of Barrachois, located approximately 15 km west of Sydney, 4.5 km south west of Scotch Lake and lies adjacent to Grand Narrows Highway. With an installed capacity of 4.7 MW, the Barrachois Community Wind Farm is estimated to supply approximately 1,461 homes with electricity while offsetting 10,604 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.

Hillside Boularderie Community Wind Farm
The Hillside Boularderie Community Wind Farm is located in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, in the province of Nova Scotia. The project site is approximately 5 kilometers southwest of the Bras D’or community and 18 kilometers northwest of Sydney. The site lies adjacent to Hillside Boularderie Road and approximately 2 kilometers south of Highway 105. This capacity is estimated to supply approximately 1,502 homes with electricity while offsetting 9,662 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.
